Located on the Thompson River, Riverside park is a great place to go for a walk or stroll along some easy pathways, or even on the beach. Throughout the spring and summer there are also a number of other activities offered, so there is sure to be something to see or do once you are finished your walk.

This suggestion may not take place outside, but it is still an excellent choice. The Hearts in Motion Walking Club takes place at the Aberdeen Mall every Tuesday and Thursday. This is a great way to meet some new people, and be active while doing it.
